DDR2

DDR2, the 2nd generation of DDR, with speeds up to 800Mhz. DDR2 has the ability to operate the external data bus at twice the rate of DDR by improved bus signaling and operating the memory cells at half the clock rate. Other advantages are lower power consumption, lower heat generation and higher density, when compared to DDR.
